Rebecca May Jewellery began with one small flower, a lily of the valley. It wasn’t just a piece of jewellery, it was a way for me to carry my daughter's memory close to my heart. What started as something so personal has grown into a jewellery collection that helps others to do the same, to hold their loved ones close in a personalised meaningful way.
Rebecca’s Story
Rebecca was born with a rare genetic condition called Zellweger syndrome. Doctors told us she wouldn’t live past her first year, but our little girl proved them wrong and blessed us with three and a half precious years.
Her life wasn’t easy, but it was full of love and laughter. She taught us how to love deeply, how to treasure every moment, and how to see the beauty in vulnerability. Rebecca changed us forever, as parents, as people, and in the choices we’ve made to love and care for others.
How It All Began
I’ve always wanted to carry Rebecca’s memory with me, but I could never find anything that felt just right. So I decided to create something of my own.
A friend and also an artist sketched a lily of the valley which is Rebecca’s birth month flower and I had it made into a little metal hand stamp. With it, I created a pendant that felt so personal, so full of meaning.
From there, the idea grew. I went on to design all the birth flowers, each with its own story and symbolism. What started as a way to keep Rebecca close has become a collection that helps others do the same for the people they love.
Jewellery With Meaning
Every piece of Rebecca May Jewellery is created with love, care, and intention. Whether it’s a birth flower pendant, a bracelet, or a custom design, my hope is that it becomes more than just jewellery. I want it to be something you treasure, a way to celebrate a loved one, to remember someone special, or simply to carry a piece of meaning with you every day.
Each flower is hand-stamped, making every pendant unique, just like the stories behind them.
